Sportex Diamond Fly Fly Rod 9' #7
With the new edition of the Diamond Fly, Sportex has achieved something "great." Slim, feather-light, perfectly crafted, and beautiful to behold, these rods carry their true treasure deep within—namely, in their extraordinary blank. It is not the action or technology that connects these rods, but their perfection! Through individual construction and material selection, every single blank has been given a unique and unmistakable soul. What pike angler needs a rod whose blank has the sensitive character of a grayling rod or executes perfect roll casts? What stream angler wants a tough blank that resists rough coastal winds or can lift more than 15 m of line out of the water in one go?
Thanks to extremely high-quality materials and a very clever design, the #7 and #8 blanks are absolute lightweights in their class while being incredibly fast and powerful. Large pike streamers are quickly cast to distance with just a few false casts and can be effortlessly lifted from the water surface along with the line. Both rods are completely saltwater-proof and perform their best work under the harshest conditions—fatigue-free and effectively. The transport length is only 74 cm!
