Sportex Diamond Fly Fly Rod 9' #5
With the re-release of the Diamond Fly, Sportex has achieved something 'great'. Slim, feather-light, perfectly crafted, and beautiful to behold, these rods carry their true treasure deep within, in their extraordinary blank. It is not the action or technology that connects these rods, but their perfection! Each individual blank has been given a unique and unmistakable soul through individual construction and material selection. What pike angler needs a rod whose blank has the sensitive character of a grayling rod or executes perfect roll casts? What stream angler wants a tough blank that resists rough coastal winds or can lift more than 15 m of line out of the water in one go?
The 9ft #5 model can be described as a well-balanced all-rounder. Even inexperienced fly fishers will quickly be thrilled by the compliant blank, cast tighter loops, and deliver their fly to the target with more precision and fewer false casts. The transport length is only 74 cm!
