Balzer Metallica Salza 5500 Spinning Reel with Front Drag - 100% saltwater-proof reel
Reels featuring the Fully Sealed System! Our engineers have achieved a true masterpiece with this reel! In addition to its lightweight design, it features 13(!) seals (Fully Sealed System (F.S.S.)) to protect the drag, gears, and axle from aggressive saltwater and corrosion!
Only the absolute best is used for the ball bearings as well: 4 saltwater-resistant stainless steel ball bearings made in Japan ensure a silky-smooth operation and a long service life.
The remaining features and construction are also completely uncompromising: the housing, rotor, and handle are made of warp-resistant aluminum, and the heavy-duty main axle is made of stainless steel. The drag offers a massive 8 kg of drag power and engages completely jerk-free.
The reel is ideal for boat fishing in the sea as well as for heavy freshwater fishing, especially for catfish.
