Balzer Matze Koch MK Adventure IM-12 MK Perch Whip - Sectional Rod - Target Fish Rod Perch - Fishing Rod
The most famous saying you often hear from Matze Koch is probably: Stay flexible! He has often misused rods, completely ignoring what the manufacturers printed on the blank. This didn't make it easy for him to develop rods, because his rods were supposed to have exactly these properties: namely to cover large areas so that the angler can react as flexibly as possible, and rods that you can also misuse without hesitation.
With the high-quality IM-12 and the affordable IM-7 rods, Matze Koch and Balzer have succeeded in this balancing act. A sensitive rod for perch fishing and medium pike fishing at the same time? It exists! A rod that is short and handy, and at the same time can make it easier to get started with vertical fishing? A rod that is there for medium spinning and light jerking? These were also made possible! Casting weight specifications from 6 to 60 grams are not a utopia. So delicate that you can serve ultra-light lures perfectly and still pull through a 50-gram jerk completely.Features:
- Japanese IM 12 carbon fiber
- FUJI Skeleton reel seat, 20% lighter
- The special curvature of the ring webs acts like a "line deflector" and prevents line loops from wrapping around the rings, even with messy casts.
- The Titanium SIC "Vector-Angle" rings stand extra far away from the blank so that the line does not "stick" to the rod even in pouring rain. "Perch over 40 cm are harder to catch than meter-long pike," Matze likes to say. That is why you have to attack with perfectly adapted equipment in order to be able to present small lures seductively. At the same time, an extremely sensitive action is required, because zander anglers know: hooked perch love to come off just before landing. This rod takes this circumstance into account with a wonderfully soft upper rod section. That's why it's far from being a wet noodle, because should a zander or pike strike, the progressive action ensures that the lower rod section takes over the work while the upper section springs back at lightning speed.
