Jörg Strehlow's Edition Zander - Kauli Shad - The catching machine with real fish oil!
Jörg Strehlow, for 25 years a regular contributor to leading fishing magazines (Fisch & Fang, Der Raubfisch, Esox, Blinker) and author of a double-digit number of books (for example, the classic "Zander Angling"), has developed a unique program for modern zander and perch spin fishing exclusively for Balzer. Brand new this year: The KAULI, Jörg's original, has now been reissued and is now available in two lengths. The drop shot program is, of course, still a top seller and will be continued.
In addition, there is a whole range of very well-thought-out accessories and sophisticated leaders, some of which contain completely new concepts from the leading predator fishing pro. In Jörg Strehlow's Zander Primer (available for free from specialist retailers!), Jörg explains in detail the individual methods of modern zander angling and his entire product range, which he designed for Balzer. Start catching like a pro from now on!
KAULI is coming home!
No other bait is associated with the success of Jörg Strehlow's "Faulenzer" (lazy) method as much as his Kauli! The countless attempts to copy it over the last few years impressively document the market dominance of this bait. Following the cult bait's tenth anniversary last year, Jörg's original has now undergone a fundamental revision: First, the tail was reworked to achieve an even more delicate action. Second, the rubber is enriched with real fish oil, which makes it even more irresistible! Regarding colors, the inventor of the Faulenzer method sticks to his philosophy for success: "Less is more!".
Wait, not quite! Because the classic 12 cm long Kauli has gained a shorter brother: At 6 cm, the Kauli is great for enticing perch but also big zander – when they have an oversupply of food or are rather reluctant to bite due to weather changes and/or low water. Since both versions of the Strehlow Kauli float, they are suitable for both the Faulenzer and jigging methods, as well as for fishing with American techniques (e.g., dropshotting or on Texas and Carolina rigs). Outstanding catch results have also been achieved with the Kauli for many years when vertical fishing from a boat – why not try it out together with Balzer's new vertical jigs!
Mother-of-pearl silver: Predators are particularly keen on this in clear waters with a strong population of bleak.
