True machines with incredible power. Here are the two Acute Jig reels. The features of these powerhouses are impressive. The housing (and the rotor for the Acute Jig 8000) is made of seawater-resistant duralumin, and all other components, such as ball bearings, main shaft, etc., are naturally stainless. The gearbox is "made of metal" and the drag is equipped with carbon fiber discs. As a result, the drag forces are extremely strong (see table for exact values). This reel is a faithful companion for years, perhaps even a reel for life! Even though all components are made of stainless material, the reel should be rinsed with fresh water after every use in saltwater. This ensures a long service life.
