Trout dough - ideal for trout fishing - buy trout dough here in the fishing shop at a low price

Trout dough has really shaken up the trout fishing scene in recent years. It started with the American TroutBait from Berkley. Initially, this trout dough did not particularly convince trout anglers. However, as is the case with good fishing lures, the Berkley Trout Bait trout dough embarked on a great triumphant march among fishing baits - because Trout Bait catches! Today, trout dough has become an indispensable part of the fishing lure scene.

Many manufacturers have since followed suit and developed their own trout doughs for trout fishing.

At Angler-Markt.de, you can choose from a multitude of trout doughs from different manufacturers. We stock trout dough from Berkley, Top Secret, and other fishing tackle manufacturers!

Most trout dough is floating and can therefore be fished with a Tiroler Hölzl (Tyrolean stick). The rig looks like this: a line stopper is mounted on the fishing line, followed by a Tiroler Hölzl. Then comes a fishing swivel, followed by the leader with the fishing hook, which is ideally equipped with a coil. This helps the trout dough hold better on the fishing hook and prevents it from falling off when casting the rod.

This allows the fishing depth to be adjusted using the stopper during bottom fishing. Because the trout dough has buoyancy, as mentioned - it floats - so the fishing depth or height can be set using the stopper.

Trout dough can of course also be fished using a float rig. However, it is recommended to attach a small split shot to the leader! Otherwise, the trout dough would sit next to the float, and bites might not be detected at all.
